Are players tampering with composite bats?
Well, it is clear the controversy about Composite Bat is not going away. I found this new article by Jon Solomon at the Birmingham News titled Fair or foul? Are players tampering with composite bats? where the author comments a little bit about Composite Bats and mentions that the problem is rolling the bats. So, it seems the composite bats are not an issue by themselves, but rolling them does cause a problem by breaking the rules.
In another topic, I can report that we enjoyed great weather in the area and finally was able to play two days last week. A teammate got one like this: DeMarini Juggernaut OTC Softball Bat USSSA – Men’s ( sz. 27 ) and I can report that it was great. Great weight and hit a home run with it. Felt good!
How you guys doing this season?

I am here to tell you a lot of people are tampering with bats…or at least getting them tampered with. I see every kind of bat come my way, and a lot of them. I kind of have a moral check when a tee ball bat is sent my way though. I always recommend not to roll a bat shorter than 32 inches. Although the shorter bat do gain distance and i hate to turn away someone. The kids do not hit it hard enough to hurt somebody anyway. We can roll your bats at bigdawgbatrolling.com if you would like to try the process out….feedback would say it works!
We are also giving away a new Easton CNT+ reissue just go to the website. Drawing is Nov 15th
My son will be 15yr in July, he is 5’8″ 130lbs. My question is, will a -3 be to much bat for a young kid. I’d prefer getting him a -5 but companies don’t seem to make a lot in this size. Any brand suggestions for a baseball bat to be rolled? Any experience with rolling a single walled B1 combat-5?
