Bat Rolling Machine?

I just discovered there are Bat Rolling Machines!!!

So, it is not enough to buy a good bat, now I also should buy the rolling machine so I can save money.

What do you think about this?

This is the ad classified I found on eBay:

  1. The unit you have pictured is okay. I purchased my unit from http://www.batrolling4u.com. After rolling my Easton Stealth the thing was SICK. From what I’ve been told is that as Composite bats begin to break in they get hotter and hotter. These machines allow you to break your bat in MUCH quicker and without having to take 500+ hits on it. I highly recommend you buying one or getting your bat rolled. http://www.batrolling4u.com is where went for both.

  2. dont buy a machine just hit until u feel it start to get stronger and flex a lil more. youll feel it breaking in after at least 100 swings

  3. @John, thanks for the advice. I think it is a tough call, given the cost of the bats.

@Otis, your bats are breaking at 100 hits? really? wow, mine went after 100 and I did not notice anything different

  4. yeah i felt them loosen up and start to hit longer shots with em. i usually buy my bats used with around 100 -200 swings on em so it doesnt take as long to get them swingin good

The break in process is different for each bat.. I had a jug head last year and it took mybe 30 swings. Really! I also had a Mizuno orange crush G5 it took about 50 swings. Miken and some worth bats I find to take longer of a break in period like 100 + swings..

  6. Joe, Thanks for your comments. So you prefer the Mizuno over the Miken? Any preference in particular? Also, after the break-in period, how was the performance, from your perspective?

No, I do not perfer Mizuno even tho they are good bats. I have a Miken NRG 500 max enload that i swing every game. That purticular bat took a lil longer to break in maybe a 100 + but once it’s broke in watch out!! I Hit one yesterday maybe 350 WOW..
